Meet Holly
Hi, I'm Holly, the one-woman bead band behind BEAD CULT London.
It started in September 2024 when I wanted a beaded bag for a wedding. I couldn't justify splurging on my ultimate idol (yes, the Shrimps bag), so I went about sourcing materials and made one myself. I didn't initially plan to make more… but when I wore it, everyone kept asking where it was from.
The Middle
Birth of BEAD CULT
And just like that… Queen Bead was born — for about 48 hours before Instagram shut my page down. So… BEAD CULT was re-born! And now I make bags whenever I get a spare minute and love it.
Since then, the bags have levelled up: they now have proper clasps, removable linings, outer dust bags, longer straps, and stronger stitching and knots. Most of these upgrades came from your feedback — so please keep it coming 🙏
